FAMILY COUNSELING | FATHERHOOD | FOSTER CARE
STARRY’s goal is to be a beacon of light for children, youth, and families in the midst of life’s challenges, both big and small. STARRY’s counselors, direct care workers, and case managers guide youth and families toward the hope of a better tomorrow. STARRY nurtures children, strengthens families, and restores hope by providing supportive services through trauma-informed Counseling, Family Support, Fatherhood, and Foster Care/Adoption services.
FAMILY COUNSELING provides counseling services to families with children from birth to 17 years of age (or youth older than 17 who are still enrolled in high school in Texas) who need assistance resolving family conflict or who are facing other difficult situations with their child or teen. We provide evidence-based and promising practices through individual and family counseling, youth and parent skills groups, training, workshops, and family crisis services. All counseling services are provided at no cost to the client. We serve over 30 Texas counties. Please call one of our 8 main counseling offices to learn more about our services and find out if we might be a good fit for your family.
FATHERHOOD PROGRAM provides services to fathers and male caregivers living in Bell and McLennan counties with a child up to 17 years of age. Expectant fathers and male caregivers are also able to access our services. All services are provided at no cost to the fathers and male caregivers. Thanks to DFPS Prevention and Early Intervention’s STAR Program funding, along with the generosity of our donors, services are provided at no cost to fathers and male caregivers. Insurance and money are never an issue as we serve clients from varying backgrounds and income levels.
FOSTER CARE & ADOPTION provides safe, loving, and trauma-informed homes for Central Texas children in need of care. Foster parents open their hearts and homes to children placed in foster care by Child Protective Services. Call us if you are interested in getting involved in foster care or want to become a foster parent.
