"I am excited to be at STARRY because it aligns with my core values and beliefs. I believe that healthy relationships heal people and I'm excited to be in an environment that cultivates the type of relationships that don't just foster healing within our communities but within our agency."

Brooke Gordon, ‘Brooklyn’, is a proud black woman counselor who is passionate about the holistic healing of those she is called to serve; and showing up at all times in authenticity. Brooke earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from her beloved HBCU: Huston-Tillotson University; and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from THEE University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Brooke is one of three co-founders of RE[ME]DY Retreats, LLC which focuses on curating intentional brave spaces for persons of color to heal in community one with another.
