Earnest J. Scruggs is a TTAP (Restorative Justice) for STEP UP Texas. For the past 3 years, he has been working as a Teacher/coach for Sherman high school. Prior to that, he was with the Boys and Girls Club of Denison for 4 years. With almost 16 years working at Grayson county juvenile services as a JSO/Sergeant/JPO. He was born and raised in the city of Sherman Texas where he currently resides. Earnest has been married almost 21 years now to his wife and they have four kids and a dog named Debo. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1996, where he was a standout in football, which earned him a scholarship. He would go on to play football for Trinity Valley Community College (National Champions in 1998) from 1996-1998 and Louisiana Tech University from 1998-2000.
Fun facts about him are, he loves sports, video games and volunteer coaching. His favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks.
