Lyndsey Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who currently works as the Director of Family and Youth Services at STARRY.  Lyndsey attended Baylor University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Educational Psychology and the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor to earn her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She has over 5 years of experience in working with children, college students, and families in counseling settings.  Lyndsey has worked as an Intake Specialist, Counselor, and Team Supervisor at STARRY before becoming the Director of FAYS.  She also has served the Waco, Temple, and Georgetown communities for STARRY.  Lyndsey is trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and works with clients on reprocessing traumatic events and reducing their levels of distress.  Lyndsey was born and raised in Austin and currently lives in Georgetown with her husband, dog, and cat.  In her free time, Lyndsey enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors (especially at the lake or hiking), and attending Baylor sporting events!
